We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ACSW (Associate Clinical Social Worker), APCC (Associate Professional Clinical Counselor), or AMFT (Associate Marriage and Family Therapist) to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform treatment planning
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA)
• Implement crisis management strategies to ensure immediate safety and stabilization for clients experiencing acute distress or trauma, including PTSD care and grief counseling
• Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards while maintaining HIPAA compliance and adhering to medical documentation protocols
• Engage in intake procedures to gather comprehensive client histories, including social work assessments and medical terminology considerations for co-occurring disorders
• Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient care, progress notes, treatment updates, and medical records management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts, ensuring continuity of care for clients with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and conduct research to stay current with evidence-based practices in behavioral health and mental health counseling

Skills

• Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and art or dance therapy
• Proficiency in crisis intervention and crisis management strategies within inpatient or outpatient settings
• Strong knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation and billing purposes
• Skilled in conducting mental health assessments and treatment planning in accordance with clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations
• Experience working with children, adolescents, adults with disabilities—including autism spectrum disorder—and geriatric populations in clinic or hospital environments
• Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and delivering services via telehealth experience while maintaining clinical standards
• Ability to manage complex cases involving co-occurring disorders with expertise in behavior management and social work principles
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions such as PTSD, chronic pain counseling, gender issues counseling, substance use disorders, and psychiatric medications (psychopharmacology)
