Job Summary
Middlesex Abuse Intervention Program Clinician (LSW, LCSW)
Full time (35 hours per week). Hybrid, in-person and some virtual hours. This position requires one day (Thursday) in person, in our Middlesex County office in East Brunswick, NJ, the hours in this office are typically 10a-730p. The rest of the days are in our main office (flexible hours) in Hunterdon County (Flemington, NJ).
Provides clinical counseling services to Middlesex AIP participants and general counseling clients, as needed. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, identifying treatment needs and risk factors, developing and monitoring individualized treatment plans, and facilitating individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices, Motivational Interviewing, and approved AIP curricula.
Coordinates with multidisciplinary treatment teams (MTTs), referral sources, court systems, and other stakeholders to support treatment planning, risk management, behavioral monitoring, and continuity of care. Applies a survivor-centered approach to AIP services, prioritizing survivor and community safety. Maintains appropriate clinical documentation, including progress reports, and provides referrals and case coordination as indicated.
Demonstrates professional ethics, effective clinical judgment, appropriate boundaries, and ongoing use of supervision, consultation, and professional development to support quality clinical practice.
Previous DV experience is a plus.
Educational Requirement: LSW/LCSW
Pay Range: $72,000-$80,000 salary, based on education and experience.
Pay: $72,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
