We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various therapeutic settings and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care.
This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, individuals with developmental disabilities, and geriatric clients. Our Tele- Therapists will utilize evidence-based practices to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions while fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
1099 Contract Position Responsibilities:. No Benefits at this Time
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions in both individual and group settings, utilizing techniques appropriate for the client's age and background.
- Offer addiction counseling and support to clients struggling with substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with ICD-9 coding standards and confidentiality regulations.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in therapy and counseling.
- Support clients with developmental disabilities through direct support services tailored to their unique needs.
- Facilitate family counseling sessions to improve communication and relationships within families.
- Work effectively in outpatient settings independently
Requirements - 10 hours a week Min hours required
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure as a therapist or counselor in the state of practice.
- Experience in addiction counseling is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation of patient care.
- Strong background in child family counseling, geriatrics, special education, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Fully Licensed Must be a LPC or LCSW
