Virtual Mental Health Therapist: 1099 Contractor

This is a fully virtual independent contractor position providing telehealth services to clients located in Michigan.

• Clinic Manager (Licensed Therapist): Develops clinician- and client-centered processes aligned with professional and regulatory requirements.
• Clinical Manager (Licensed Therapist and Supervisor): Offers ongoing clinical support to help you navigate the ever-changing behavioral health field.
• Biller: Brings years of expertise in credentialing, efficient claims submission, and responsive billing support.
• Administrative Coordinator: Provides trauma-informed, compassionate, and detail-oriented support for clinicians and clients.
• Administrative Assistant: Supports daily administrative functions, organized systems, efficient workflows, and a welcoming virtual experience.
• Marketing and Connection Strategist: Builds community partnerships, supports referral development, and increases awareness of clinicians and services.

Qualifications

We’re looking for compassionate and dedicated therapists and counselors to provide virtual mental health therapy services to clients located in Michigan.

• Education and Licensure: Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field. Active Michigan licensure is required.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of direct clinical care experience is preferred.
• Clinical Skills: Ability to provide therapy to diverse client populations, conduct intake assessments, develop diagnostic impressions, and create individualized treatment plans.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Experience and training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.
• Remote Workspace: Access to a private, professional, and HIPAA-compliant workspace with reliable internet connectivity.

Soft Skills: Strong organizational and documentation skills, sensitivity and awareness of multicultural issues, ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and possession of good character, emotional stability, and maturity.
